A Career Forged in the Service of Justice
Mr. Ahmad Abdulla Ahli is among the most experienced and respected jurists in the United Arab Emirates. His professional journey began at the Dubai Police Academy in 1993, where he completed his law degree, and culminated with his service as a Judge of the UAE Court of Cassation — the highest judicial authority in the country — from 2016 to 2022.
Over the course of more than 24 years on the bench, Mr. Ahmad presided over thousands of cases spanning civil, criminal, commercial, labour and real-estate law. He chaired some of Dubai's most consequential specialised courts, including the Real Estate Court (2009–2012), the Labour Court (2008–2009), and the Real Estate Committee for Cancelled Projects (2012–2016) — a body that resolved disputes arising from one of the most turbulent periods in UAE property history.
Following his retirement from judicial service in 2022, Mr. Ahmad founded Ahmad Abdulla Ahli Advocates & Legal Consultants in 2023. The firm embodies his lifelong conviction that the highest-quality advocacy is rooted in judicial discipline, ethical rigour, and a profound understanding of how UAE courts actually decide cases.
